Registered Manager

What we require from a Registered Children’s Home Manager:


• Within the last five years, a minimum of two years’ experience in a senior position relevant to the residential care of children
• At least one years’ experience supervising and managing staff in a care role
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulations 2015 (as amended), Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards and Social care common inspection framework (SCCIF): children’s homes
• Ability to meet regulatory requirements to be registered with Ofsted
• Understanding of children’s social and emotional development
• Experience of managing challenging behaviour
• Full UK Driving Licence


Deputy Manager

What we require from a Deputy Manager:


• A minimum of two years’ experience in the residential care of children
• Experience of supervising staff / shift leading in a care role
• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Excellent record-keeping skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulation 2015 (as amended),  Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards and Social care common inspection framework (SCCIF): children’s homes
• Understanding of children’s social and emotional development
• Experience of managing challenging behaviour
• Full UK Driving Licence



Senior Care worker

What we require from a Team Leader:


• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Children’s Residential Homes
• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Excellent record-keeping skills
• Passionate about working with children and young people
• Good knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulation 2015 (as amended),  Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards and Social care common inspection framework (SCCIF): children’s homes
• Must be able to sleep over and undertake shifts, including evenings and weekend.
• Understanding of children’s social and emotional development
• Experience of managing challenging behaviour
• Full UK Driving Licence


Residential care worker

What we require from a Residential Support Worker:
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children (preferably in a Children’s Residential setting)
• Passionate about working with children and young people
• Resilience and patience. The ability to manage challenging behaviour for children with social and emotional needs.
• The ability to support children with their everyday needs and routines including; emotional support, behaviour support, developing their independent skills, advocating for children, record keeping. In addition to; cooking meals, cleaning the home, washing & ironing.
• Ability to organise and lead activities such as; swimming, cinema, visits to theme parks, arts & crafts, baking, computer games etc.
• Must be able to sleep over and undertake shifts, including evenings and weekends
